Ally is a band directed by Canadian singer/songwriter Dante J. D'Ignazio based out of Brantford Ontario. The project began in 2012 when many hours of the day were spent in contemplation and experimenting with musical arrangements. As the days brushed on the truth got clearer, the songs got better, and the set's got longer. Friends came and gone, moons shone and dim'd, and the music never ended. Though the DNA of Ally has always existed, the band has not always been assembled.

Dante started playing the keys at the age of 7 and hasn't looked back since. If you find yourself in an intimate conversation with Dante you may hear him say "Music is like breathing to me, I couldn't stop if I tried." Since 2015 Dante has been writing songs, flailing lead vocals, and slushing some rhythm guitar with The Dakota Slims; a hometown classic rock band. Dante brings honest and colourful poetry in his lyrics, stimulating musical arrangements, and a captivating stage presence. You will find a lets be real and get to the good part atitude in this band. This is truly a group that will leave it's existence in the bibliography of Canadian music. .
